Confession: Even though Sex and the City spawned more bad fashion than you can shake a stiletto at, I love her outfit. I think she pulls it off and there aren't many who could. If I thought for even a nanosecond I could get away with wearing something like this, I would. Not everyday, and probably not the shoes, but maybe for brunch with the girls? Check out the BAG!!!
Confession: I'll probably pay full price to see the movie when it comes out. I loved the show, too, even when it wasn't on top of its game, and even though I liked Aidan better than Big.
I know, some of Carrie's outfits just made one's eyes roll, and not in a good way, but still, she really owned them somehow. There was never a sense, for me, that she was someone who wore crazy combinations to draw attention to herself, which I always find tiresome, but rather that the combination made sense to her and pleased her, and that that pleasure was sufficient. And I admire that.
ReplyDeleteI liked Aidan better too and think he's much better-looking, but there's something about Big's badboy smile . . . I'll be there first week the movie's out, for sure
