I quite like the 3rd one. My lips used to look far too exaggerated when I tried strong colours, but with the good old shrinking that age brings (always the wrong parts get shrunk -- what's that about?!), I'm keener on trying out new shades.
The nice thing about all of these is that they're relatively sheer, so your lips don't enter the room before you do. And they have a bit of shine, which makes thin lips look fuller. :-)
I like all of your reds ... but #2 is my fave. As for the LBD, I have to agree: a dressmaker's the way to go. I have three dresses from a dressmaker and, with the exception of one dress I made for myself which I totally adore, they are the three best pieces of clothing I've ever owned.
It's from "Mad Men." After the women in the office test the client's lipsticks and blot their lips on tissues, Peggy grabs the trash can full of tissues and hands them to the ad manager with that line.
Mwah-mwah, kiss-kiss!! My favorite of the three is number two.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting your pretty red puckers! ;-)
You're welcome dahlink!

ReplyDeleteWhich did you choose? I love them all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic public service! Thanks for helping me find my new color, which would be #3.
ReplyDeleteOh darn it, where's that basket of kisses quote from?
