I stopped in to Banana Republic today to replenish my white tees, and this bag grabbed my attention from across the store. I've really been impressed with the quality of the last few season's bags from Banana Republic, and this one is no exception. The leather is super soft, the bag seems to be solidly made, and it's darn cute. After the bags I've been looking at recently, this one seems like quite the bargain at $228. (The red especially is stunning; it's more of a bright, pure, lipstick red than it appears in the picture.)
I usually don't care for the cloth bags that they carry but Anthropologie often has lovely, good quality leather bags for under $400.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if I could resist that one -- red is great, providing a punch of colour yet being classic enough to accessorize with a wide range. My favourite bag for the last two years is a BR large-ish shoulder bag, chocolate brown pebbled leather that I got on sale for just under $300 -- cost per wearing, it's practically free!

www.urbanoutfitters.com and peruse their handbag selection you will see it. I have it in brown and get tons of compliments on it. I ordered the red today.
