This fabulous crinkled patent clutch is from....Talbots! It only looks expensive.Just a note about Talbots: although they have a reputation as being very staid and conservative, I've often found really cute and inexpensive accessories there that garner lots of compliments. I'd bet dollars to donuts that this bag would be one of those items.
Maybe I'm staid and conservative, but I like Talbot's. I've gotten several things from them lately and I always receive compliments.

ReplyDeleteI've noticed lately that Talbot's tends to be following fashion trends a bit more, but just tones them down a bit. For example if yellow is "hot" they'll have several items in yellow. Florals are big for spring/summer, and I'm seeing a lot of floral pieces on their website. I've always received compliments on some of my Talbot's pieces, and often from some of the much younger "fashionistas" in the office.
I have found a lot of good pieces at Talbot's. I really like their 3/4 sleeve tees;the quality is fantastic.

ReplyDeleteA bouquet for Talbot's pants: fabrics are often Italian. Disappointed by the dresses.
ReplyDeleteWhen I enter the store often feel I've given up, but usually emerge with something useful and stylish if mixed with other pieces.

ReplyDeleteI am going tomorrow. And, I will come home with more of those great tees!! I love them. I have one in navy, aqua, black, brown and white. I am stocking up as there are no Talbot's in France.
