Coming Attractions

This week all of my Word Mojo™ has been directed toward composing eloquent and motivational staff performance reviews, but I'll be back up to speed next week.

Shefaly at La Vie Quotidienne has tagged me again for a meme. This one requires taking some notes, so I'll be working on it over the weekend.

I've also been playing with some powder foundations and will be reporting my results.

    I also wanted to tell you that I got a surprise birthday present - one of Ashley Ashoff's Billets-Doux de Balzac. I think I might have come across her because of something I read here. It is blue with darker blue letters. Looks nice. I am going to give it an outing once the rain stops here.. :-)

    Ooh, and are you loving the Jane Iredale. I am finding as my skin gets dryer I am getting less lovely results. Looking forward to reading about your results.

  3. shefaly - I think that's the same scarf that I have. It's lovely, isn't it? What a nice present!

    LBR - that's one of the brands I've been road testing, and results are mixed. But I'll do the whole enchilada next week.

  4. Deja Pseu: The reviews in today's NYT and Globe & Mail (Toronto) have been beyond negative.

    So if I go, would this be a case of enjoying bad Sex?

  6. DejaPseu: Yes, it is the same one and it is so pretty!

    I feel it might have been better to retain the billets-doux in French rather than render them in English.
