Heed my words and remember how horrendous they looked before SiennaLindsayParisHeidiZooeyChloeLauren paired them with some floral mini-dress and showed up at some red carpet event which was featured in InStyle's Celebrity Looks section, ushering in a new and dubious trend.Edited to add: These are by Michael Kors, whose designs I usually consider mainstream and accessible, if not always to my taste. This looks like something that was designed by Steve Madden during a vodka-and-vicodin laced fever dream.

Well, at least they offer the opportunity to pretend one's frugally resisting them and then rewarding one's frugality by spending the $295 on, say, a cute little acorn charm bracelet and perhaps some matching earrings ;-)
