I had a similar plan. Yet, many L.A. francophile bloggers are in Paris in Sept. and you are gone in October. Perhaps we should wait until you return from your adventures.
i, too, would love to be meeting in paris, but NYC can do in a pinch. i'm in NYC at that time (well, *most* of the time, actually. i live here.) please email me -- i work in midtown (we may have discussed this before) and enjoy going to places like the Algonquin (http://www.algonquinhotel.com/) or the Poetry Garden at the Library Hotel (http://www.libraryhotel.com/poetry-photos.html) for drinks. on the other hand, i brag that i will be in england from 9/24 - 10/6, seeing the lovely David Tennant in "Hamlet" AND in "Love's Labours Lost".
