Now where have I seen this look before? I just can't put my finger on ----Oh yeah.
Jacket above from Dolce & Gabbana. Bugs & friend from Chuck Jones.Update: So either I saw this and I'm suffering from CRS* or WendyB and I really are psychic, but credit where credit is due, she made this connection first.

Monstahs meet the most interesting pee-pehl.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the monster's name is Gossamer. I don't know what the jacket's name is, except possibly Hideous.
That's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking flamboyant Yeti until I saw your 2nd picture:).
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHah! Well spotted.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike :-P

Gah!! How did I miss that???
ReplyDeleteI saw the picture of the coat in September Vogue yesterday and made the association.
But we still have great minds, eh?
:-D
Great minds, AND we're good-looking too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a pink afghan hound!
ReplyDeleteMy plan for tomorrow was/is to do a post on if someone gave them to you, here are a few things you wouldn't wear to take out the garbage.
ReplyDeleteIt's along the same lines as your pink gorilla coat. I swear I didn't peak, but we're definitely on the same wave length.
BTW, I've always suspected that someone else made this connection long before I did but I can't remember shit!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was the first thing that sprang to mind for me too!
ReplyDeleteEven Cruella Deville wouldn't wear that one....
You always show the best of the worst! I actually bought something similar in the '80s, on a depressed post-work shopping spree on a lonely Friday night. It cured my blues but my GFs laughed every time I wore it.
ReplyDeleteSwear, I knew that was Gossamer when I first saw the jacket. I hope they make a bright orange one!!
