This is the Talbot's scarf I posted about a couple of weeks ago. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one...to give away to one of you! Details to come next week.
I'm also wearing my WendyB "Diana" necklace. While I'm not giving one of those away, (at least not until I win the lottery, then it's a round of WendyB jewelry for the house on me!) you can still get one of your own here. ~
No one wears a scarf as well as you! I heard that the new designer for Talbot's used to work for Ann Taylor. Do you know if that's true? I used to love Ann Taylor - not so much anymore. To me, Ann Taylor now looks a bit like J. Crew, and Talbot's looks like the old Ann Taylor. What do you think?
materfamilias - thank you! That wine color isn't my best, but I do like the little splash of color it provides.
dollcannotfly - thank you! I don't know about the designers. I'd given up on AT in recent years as they seemed to have gone in a very "debutaunte-alumni-lunch-at-the-country-club" direction. I think the Talbot's collection is far more sophisticated than anything I've seen from AT in over a decade, but anything is possible.
Perdita - it really depends on the weight, size and texture of the scarf. This particular one seemed to stay in place pretty well, though an occasional tweak was needed periodically.
Very chic scarf!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I looove that scarf! And the way you've tied it accents its contrasting wine-coloured border perfectly. Of course.

Nancy - thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt was so awesome to see you last night, beautiful lady! I am definitely looking forward to the day when you win the lottery!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear all the contest details.
ReplyDeleteTres chic, Miss Pseu. Lovely to see you last night.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! And how sweet that you purchased a twin to give away ...
ReplyDeleteThe color of the nice knit, the scarf and the WendyB all go great together!
ReplyDeleteI love that scarf, have been eyeing it to buy, but have been holding off... Maybe I will wait and enter your contest giveaway next week!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous scarf and necklace! How was your get together with the famous WendyB?
ReplyDeleteScarf is charming! And I do think you can wear that colour, it's a lively, not too dark wine.
ReplyDeleteTres chic!
ReplyDeleteCan you please tell us how you tied it? It looks wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteBien sûr Mme,
ReplyDeleteHow do you keep it that way without it slipping back to the centre of the throat in a matter of minutes? Unless you used a little safety pin?;)
Kind regards,
curious Perdita
