I'm loving the bow on it ;)
can you hear me purrrrrrrrrrring?
The bow is cute in concept, but you can't hardly see it. Maybe it shows better in person? Otherwise it needs a bit of contrast, IMO. The tote is a cute shape though.BTW, Talbots is having a very good outlet sale this weekend. I picked up several knit tops and tees for fall, mostly basics. Some items were as low as $9.99.
The outlet sale is online only.
Terrific cat print: perfect scale (not too big) with deep, rich colours. And the shape of the bag is so graceful. I'd also use this as a plane carry on. Would prefer a buckle to a bow, but it does vanish.
Spot on selection my dear!
Oh, and since you are a devotee of Mad Men you might enjoy checking out today's WSJ. There's an article entitled "The Women Behind Mad Men" in the Weekend Journal section, page W1. Very interesting.
And wasn't Imogen just talking about hero pieces . . .
I love the bow detail gives it a different look.
Sher - me too! It's that bow that keeps it from being just another leopard tote.StyleSpy - pretty much my reaction when I saw this. :-)Erin - oh yeah!
Nancy - I like the fact that the bow sort of blends in. For some reason that strikes me as a little subversive. Thanks for the tip on that Talbot's outlet sale...already have some items in my cart I'm considering.Duchesse - I was also thinking this would be a great travel/carry-on bag, but purchased a large Longchamp Le Pliage last year for that purpose and can't justify buying another...Sal - meow, indeed!Lisa - thank you. I'm off to check out the WSJ article.
materfamilias - I know, wouldn't this just carry an outfit, though?Parisienne Farmgirl - I agree; it's that bow that really makes bag this a cut above!
Dites moi vos pensées...
