This tie was an experiment on the fly that worked. Fold your large silk square into an oblong (basic Hermès fold), then twist a few times, fold in half and drape around the neck with the loop on one side and the ends on the other. Pass one of the ends through the loop, knot with the other end,
et voilà!

Soft, pretty and relaxed, I enjoy this!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Looks great on you, wouldn't have thought to bring in the orange, but it really works!
ReplyDeleteThis looks good on you! I can not yet manage something like that. I like to wear tops with a wide neckline, with or without the necklaces I have showed in my blog. Funnily I now feel, that a small pendant is too small to be worn. Luckily I only have one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Makes the scarf look like a piece of jewelery.
ReplyDeleteI like the knot, and I LOVE the colours in that scarf--perfect for your warm colouring!
ReplyDeleteI love purple and orange together and this scarf does that in an easy-to-manage rather than an in-your-face way -- very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI kind of want to wind the ends up like a propeller and send you zooming around :-)
ReplyDeleteMy word verification is "swoon."
Very chic! I will have to try this. It will be a very stylish way to camouflage my neck!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Nonchalant in the best possible way.
ReplyDeleteVery nice...the bracelet too.
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf and love the tie!!! I'm definitely going to have to try that out! =) Don't you love it when things just work out?
ReplyDeleteLove it....xv
ReplyDeleteVery creative. It's a lovely accent.
ReplyDeleteC'est parfait!
ReplyDeleteGreat scarf colour and your bangle is very attractive too.
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteWell done. I thought you were on vacation, skiing?
ReplyDeleteDon't tell me you're donning your apres ski and hitting the laptop?
So soft around the neck. Great picture and pretty scarf.
