No, I didn't...

Even though the sales guys were trying to ply us with tequila shots. This one looks gorgeous on and is very light and very warm. Shearling jacket, $3875.

  1. Oh, Deja, that is so gorgeous! But the price...bravo to you for resisting!

    Do they have sales?

  2. ...Shearling...my downfall. I can't resist.
The shearling coat that I bought this past November in NY at the Fur Vault trunk show is currently being sold at Goresuch for twice the price.
I'll bet that the one from this photo came from the Fur Vault too because they are suppliers to a lot of stores.
Can I suggest that if you find a jacket or coat that you like, send a photo of it to the Fur Vault and see if they can sell it to you for wholesale.

  3. Good for you, especially since hi you live in the land of WARM AND SUNNY!!!

Am catching up on posts so I will say I love the one of you in your ski garb, though. Great pic.

  4. I agree with Vix, although the jacket might be tempting. But then again, on my ancient visit to Monaco, I saw ladies wearing long mink coats in the evening and the temperature was around +20°C. But then this coat is not an evening coat, right ;) If you plan to visit the skiing place often, then I´d suggest a model, which can be re-modelled every now and the.

  5. Oh my gosh that is sooo beautiful! I have such a problem buying coats... that is, I have too many coats for warm and sunny S. CA. :-)

  6. Thaat jacket is gorgeous. I don't believe that humans should wear furs (unless it is a natural part of their existence such as remote Inuit) but I will say that this is truly exquisite in design.

  7. I love this a million/10. Please run back to that shop and buy it right this second. For my sake. Meanwhile it is BOILING hot here x

  8. I love shearling. Bought a coat in 1998, still wear it every day of the winter!

  9. I have worn a several shearlings over the years. All but the best quality (such as this) ended up being so heavy I gave them away.

I enjoy tequila and shopping, but mixing the two is more likely to result in me getting a tattoo than a coat.

  10. It's beautiful, but I think you made a good choice in opting not to! ;)

  11. For me it's champagne. I'm so malleable after champagne. Yep I would have come home with one LOL!
