Pseu, I want to let you know how much I appreciate you sharing the try on experience you had with the leopard print coat. Since we are the same height I decided to forego this lovely coat and instead purchase the leopard print cardi and the Audrey sweater in camel. Both of those will fit better on my frame I think.
Also, I decided to really take a walk on the wild side and order the J.Jill short biker boots. They will work great with Levi's on a weekend; I plan on paring that with a sleek top and my black Kelley bag.
Selfishly, I'm rather hoping that Talbot's doesn't carry the coat up here -- it's so fab that I know it will start popping up everywhere and I'll be forced to leave my own leopard coat in the closet for a few seasons. Told you I was selfish!
I've been checking the site every day since I saw the Audrey sweater in July Vogue. I just bought it.
The leopard coat is fabulous. I won't be buying it (not for my figure), but I'm looking forward to seeing more leopard-prints this winter. It will be fun.
Are you buying the leopard coat or is that a stupid question?
Oh, forgot to weigh-in on biker boots. Never too old probably. Maybe 80? Maybe not, at that age they would move into eccentric, which I think is a great look after a certain age.
Tish - I tried this one on and decided to give it a pass. The print was just too big for my small frame. But there is a leopard print cardigan I'm eying...
I love the leopard print, and I was absolutely determined to buy these great Sperry leopard loafers, http://www.sperrytopsider.com/store/SiteController/sperry/productdetails?stockNumber=9787847&showDefaultOption=true&skuId=***7********9787847*M090&productId=7-135800&catId=cat90048DM, until I looked them up and determined they were haircalf. I hate haircalf. Why can't they just be printed leather or suede????
I stopped in to Talbot's today and they were already sold out of this coat. They had the large poster in the window, but none of the coats in the store. Oh well.
