Readers mentioned that they loved the look of the olive trench in last Friday's Polyvore, but that the price (over $700) was prohibitive. Just for you, une femme scoured the internets all weekend and found the trench above from Nordstrom, $148.
And this one from DKNY, also $148.
Then there's this version from Max Studio, with 3/4 sleeves.

Superb scouting! Like the DKNY pocket detail. Raincoats seem to have huge differences in price without a consistent difference in quality.
ReplyDeleteI too like the DKNY. Nice color.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog-I'm new here....love the green Jacket form Nordstroms!

Your post had already inspired me to dig out a shorter olive trench I'd almost forgotten about -- it's quite lightweight, just perfect for the next few weeks of cool mornings but still-warm days.
ReplyDeleteThe olive trench from Nordstroms is divine...you are an amazing huntress!
ReplyDeleteOoh, yummy!
ReplyDeleteDuchesse makes a good point.
ReplyDeleteYou're too good to us!
ReplyDeleteIf only I were in the market for a trench -- having just bought a new khaki one last year, I can't justify the purchase, but it's nice to look at the reasonable options you've tracked down for the season!
I just saw a lovely London Fog version but decided it was too green. Now that first picture has made me change my mind.
ReplyDeleteThe DKNY trench is for me ~ and the price is just right ~ I think a trench + good stretch jeans is a comfortable combination to pack for Paris
ReplyDeletelove the DKNY color but I want the single-breasted silhouette...sigh. another mission.
ReplyDeleteThese coats are very good alternatives for the more expensive ones ( D.v.Noten too ), but the color must fit your complexion.
ReplyDeleteAdore these colours ... but I'm too short and lacking in waist to wear double-breasted, I think.
