Une surprise pour vous!
This is my first attempt at creating a video tutorial, comment plier un foulard. Both of these ties I use freqently with my longer scarves, as they're easy, look great, stay in place, and aren't constricting around the neck.
Oui, the video's a bit rough around the edges, and I'm hoping that with time and practice my video skills will improve; still it was great fun to put together!

Charmante! That second tie is an old favorite of mine, and I'm going to practice with the first... it looks like it might be a bit cooler for indoor wear.

Ok, I just went and tried the second technique (and I just happen to have a long leopard print scarf!) It looks great, such a simple "twist"---pun intended---but looks quite a lot better than just looping the ends through, which is what I've always done. Thanks, Pseu!

ReplyDelete1. Yes, I plan to do more of these, hopefully one every week or two with a variety of scarf shapes and sizes, until I run out of ideas.
2. Yes, my hair is darker. I'd felt that the strawberry blond color was just too light and washing me out, so I've gone with a color that's a slightly warmer version of my natural color (minus the grey), and I'm quite happy with it. I desparately need a haircut right now, which I'll be getting on Sunday. No radical changes, just tweaking the current style, which I'm also mostly happy with.
3. I initially tried recording my voice, but in having to stand back from the computer far enough to get capture the entire "field of operation," the mic wasn't picking up my voice well, and the result was echo-y and not very clear.
