With Holiday Party Season™ officially upon us, I thought it might be fun to show one way to wear a scarf with a party or evening ensemble. This can be used with a pleated (plissé) silk square, a standard carré or even a smaller square. It's very easy; just keep practicing until you get "la fleur" to look the way you want. You can wear in front or to side. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteAgain, thank you - I wore my fleur to last night's Christmas party, and was appropriately complimented. This with a long, skinny scarf that I had never been able to tie properly before - no matter what I did, I always lost the pretty striped pattern in the folds. Now I can let it show!

ReplyDeleteDo you have a place your recommend for finding a plisse scarf? I can find some that have a few gentle pleats, but none that have the nice folds of yours from the video. ( I guess I should stop purchasing scarves from my local Urban Outfitters - LOL!) Also, what are your recommendations for storing scarves. I have about 25 but I struggle with organizing them in a good fashion and I find I tend to wear the same 4 over and over!
