Pseu, as you may recall, I work in Amsterdam sometimes, and my great joy is the cheap flowers at markets there - not just flower markets but ordinary street markets for food and accessories.
dana - the woman on the left is a paternal great-grandmother (my father's grandmother, will be sharing some more pictures of her soon). The woman on the right is a maternal great-grandmother (my mother's father's mother).
Incidently, the vase is actually a tumbler purchased in the bathroom section of Bloomingdales. I'd always loved the look of silver julep cups used as vases, so "repurposed" this one.
