ReplyDeleteEmmylou Harris is not well known in Austria, I did kow Bonny Riatt. (even own a record) I clicked on some more videos on Youtube. It is nice to see how she gaines selfconfidence during the years.
One question: do women who sing country music sing country music because their voice fits perfectly or do they adapt their voice so it fits perfectly for country music? I would not imagine her singing her other than country music.
BTW: she has perfect natural grey hair.

ReplyDeleteOh, the memories! I saw Jessie Colin Young at Boston University in 1979, when I was a freshman. Concert in the gym. Do they still do that?
