I probably understand your wish; having had such great times in Paris. I do like the color and the irregular shape of the Helmut Lang piece, and as it is so sheer, what if you ( someone ) wore two of them on together, like sizes S and M? The " older YSL models " will be worth saving, since Stefano Pilati no longer designs for YSL. The new designs are not comparable with the older ones. Sigh.
I love gray with a touch of camel, which invites that little sparkle of gold. Perfect for casual Friday which could only be more perfect, as you suggest, with a taste of Paris... in Paris.
I love grey pieces and these two tops are outstanding. I'll bet there's a romantic spot where you and your sweetheart could sip a glass of vino and people watch... we like to go to The Empress Hotel Bengal Lounge for some international people watching. Enjoy your weekend.

I wish I could pop over for a cafe sit with my sweetheart, too. I find myself being envious of Americans living on the east coast because the flights to Europe are so short in comparison to us Californians.

Haven't been to Paris for over a year and think it's time to arrange a visit. Just need to find some cheap seats on Eurostar. Those boots are gorgeous
