I promised Wendy Brandes I'd carve a pumpkin to look like her grumpy-faced cat, FitzRoy. It's a bit crude perhaps, but I think I've captured his essence here...
Crazy week here, but I'll be back on Friday with a style-related post!
~
Adorable! I went to fetch the newspaper today (yes I still get my news in print) and found that the squirrels had actually eaten through the top of my pumpkin, taken most of the seeds and left it gutted without a top. Almost looks like they carved it, but they left a mess. At least I contributed to their winter stash.
You did a fabulous job on that pumpkin! (And by the way, I think I was channeling your foulard expertise yesterday... I went with an orange scarf that kept me delightfully upbeat throughout a very long day!)
It's excellent, you have carving skills!
ReplyDeleteYou totally nailed it. I'm agog :o
