Best line of the first episode of DA. I'm not a fan of "pops" of color, so I like the outfit more without the scarf, but it is a beautiful scarf, and I know I'm in the minority.
I love the pattern mix!! The tone of your eye glass frames is a perfect compliment to your hair colour…but of course you knew that. You look smashing as always.
I'll be in the minority with Kathy -- I like the outfit without the scarf best, which is not to disparage black/white/red. I think it looks more sleek without the scarf and I love seeing the highlight of the necklace. Although full disclosure, I'm one of the rare souls who isn't crazy about scarves. I enjoy them in winter with a coat or jacket, but I don't tend to wear the scarf look. I admire how some women can pull them off, though. It's just sometimes they feel like a little overkill and make a look seem cluttered.
That scarf is glorious.
ReplyDeleteThis top one and the close-up were my favourite photos from your Already Pretty post!

ReplyDeleteHA!! The Dowager Countess made us laugh so hard when she said that line that we had to pause the show until we calmed down. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous scarf and fabulous Dowton Abbey! The Dowager Countess, who can out do her sense of humor....not meaning in the least to be funny.

I, too, nearly fell off the sofa laughing over the Dowager's "waiter" line. I can't wait to see what else she has in mind this season.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great picture. I love how the scarf is billowing in the breeze. Love the vibrant color too.
ReplyDeleteNice colour scheme, I continue to gravitate towards the Black.... love the scarf and shirt cuffs turned up.It lends some cheek to the outfit!
